Derek Bodkin will be performing a special one set show at the "Press Club" located in Seaside California on September 2nd, 2016 following the celebrated "Sessions at the Press Club" Open Mic. Joining Derek will be his friends known as "The Hovering Breadcat Folk Ensemble." (featuring Brian Vandemark on bass, Nik Bortolussi on drums and Clarinet, Tommy Knowles on guitar, and Monica Payne on percussion)
The Open Mic starts at 7:30PM (arrive at 7:00 for social) and will feature truly talented local artists, poets, comedians, and more.
Derek Bodkin will close the night starting at 9:30pm at this terrific community event hosted by venerable MC Daniel Vorhies and the awesome Heather Dawn of the Monterey Weekly.
Join us for fantastic beverages (Wine, Sangria, Teas, and more) and nosh. A great after dinner choice for your Friday evening. Derek will be performing songs from his current album and his upcoming new album to be released in 2017. Cheers!
